CN: spiders and probably body horror / eye horror

Had a dream that a friend was showing me a new ability he had discovered, where he could summon many of these very small tiny spiders at will. It was like they spontaneously appeared when he wanted. For some reason, I was very impressed by this. After an intermission of some other blurry unrelated stuff happened that I don't recall, I found myself waking up in the dream. My left eye felt like it had something in it, so I tried to brush it away. When I looked down, I could see some of the little spiders. They were black and had legs shaped like the leaves of a Christmas cactus. The very last segment of each leg was white. They reminded me of a joltik.

For some reason, I was initially amused by this. I was manifesting spiders too, apparently. So I went to show my friend and he happily told me that he had made it so these spiders would come out of my eye, and that that was how he was manifesting them initially. And sure enough, I kept feeling the sensation of an eyelash in my eye, only to find there was another tiny spider coming out of my eyelid and literally using my eyelash like a fireman's pole to descend into the world.

By this point I was significantly less amused. After learning that the source of the spiders is something placed in small holes drilled into the bone beneath the eye, I was even less thrilled. In effect, I would have spiders coming out of my body for the foreseeable future. I was really hurt by the fact that my friend would do this with no concern for whether or not I wanted to have a spider's nest implanted in my face or what the long term consequences would be. Nobody else in the dream was at all alarmed by this, or thought it worthy of concern for some reason.

I have no theories or anything, this is just a "What the fuck was that??" sort of account. Outside of the dream world, said friend has never done anything remotely like this, of course.
